XC:
Competed in five meets for MSUM, marking new personal bests in the 6k, 8k and 10k...finished 10th at the Dragon Twilight with a 6k time of 18:25.5...narrowly missed All-NSIC distinction in the 8k after a 24:45.9 showing at the NSIC Cross Country Championships, finishing 21st overall...the time is the 16th-best in program history...clocked a 10k personal best of 32:29.9 at the NCAA Central Region Championships...placed fifth in the Jimmie Invitational 8k behind a time of 26:05.3.
Indoor: Competed in five meets for the Dragons, setting new collegiate bests in the mile run (4:23.07), the 1000m (2:35.51), the 3000m (9:01.67) and the 800m (1:58.55)...competed in the 1000m at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships, placing 14th with a time of 2:39.41...was a member of MSUM's All-NSIC distance medley relay at the conference meet as well, helping mark a 10:11.42 finishing time...placed sixth in the mile run at the Bison Team Cup, finishing with a time if 4:27.02.
Outdoor: Competed in four meets for the Dragons in a variety of middle distance events...clocked a new personal best in the 5000m run at the NSIC Outdoor Championships, finishing 16th with a time of 15:16.22...also set a new personal best in the 1500m run during the season, clocking a 4:13.15 at the USD Early Bird...placed fifth in the 5000m run at the NDSU Spring Classic, marking a time of 15:55.71.

Prep: Ran both track & field and cross country in Champlin Park High School where he clocked a 5k personal best of 16:24 in cross country...also holds a personal best of 1:58.55 in the 800m and 4:27 in the 1600m...was an all-conference selection in cross country as well as a state qualifier.

Personal: Son of Zam Zam Ali and Faysal Said. Majoring in exercise science.
