Prep: Made 24 career starts for New Richmond High School, tallying 115 total tackles with 65 solo stops...had 30 pass breakups and 10 interceptions as well...was an all-state, all-conference and all-region performer at New Richmond..also competed in basketball.

Personal: Son of Jocelyn and Matthew Monson. Majoring in exercise science.
