Biography

2024: Played in nine games for the Dragons, making 14 total tackles including 10 solo takedowns...had three tackles for loss including one sack for 14 yards...had a quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery during the season...was valuable on special teams as well, blocking two kicks, including a field goal during the season...NSIC All-Academic Team. 

2023: Played in six games for the Dragons, making four tackles during the season. 

Prep: Collected 67 tackles, three sacks, eight tackles for loss, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries as a senior...Was selected as an all-district performer. 

Personal: Son of Crystal and Kris Sayre. Majoring in construction management.

Coach Laqua: “Ashton is a dominating force, he was a guy that was hungry, and willing to be better, to get better. He has built himself up in the weight room, and is very impressive when you see him.”
