Prep: Played in eight games as a senior for Detroit Lakes High School, making 31 total tackles with five sacks and two forced fumbles...was an all-district selection for the Lakers as well...also competed in track & field and basketball. 

Personal: Son of Kaylin and Greg Severson. Majoring in business administration.
