Chase Montplaisir is in seventh season on the Minnesota State University Moorhead football coaching staff in 2024. He serves as the Dragons' wide receiver coach.

Montplaisir was a member of the Dragon football squad in 2014. Prior to that, Montplaisir played at Fargo Shanley High School, where he was a four-year letterwinner and two-time all-state selection. Montplaisir was a two-time all-region selection as well.

A native of Fargo, N.D., Montplaisir is the younger brother of Myles Montplaisir, who was a four-year member of the Dragon football team.
