Tristian Johnson is in his fourth season as the defensive line coach on the MSUM football staff in 2018.
Senior Jake Busse and sophomore Miles Baggett each picked up All-NSIC North First Team honors in 2017 under Johnson's guidance. Busse also earned first team honors in 2016 and 2015.
A native of LaGrange, Ga., Johnson was a four-year letterwinner as a defensive lineman at the University of Kentucky.
Johnson spent the 2014 season as the linebacker/strength and conditioning coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College. He also has served as the defensive line coach at West Jessamine High School and served as a volunteer coach at the Reach for the Sky Foundation camp in 2013.
He also was a participant at the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in 2013.
Johnson is a 2013 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in community and leadership development.
