Wade Youngblom is in his fifth season on the Minnesota State University Moorhead football staff. He will coach the wide receivers in 2020 with his primary recruiting focus being South Dakota and southern Minnesota.
He has served as defensive line coach and during that time Darius Woods-Steichen earned two All-NSIC North honors. He has also served as the running backs and tight ends coach.
Youngblom was a member of the Dragon football team from 2011-15. He started out as a tight end before moving to the defensive line the past two seasons. As a senior in 2015, he appeared in all 11 games on the defensive line.
He appeared in 42 career games at MSUM.
A native of Sisseton, S.D., Youngblom was a multi-sport standout at Sisseton High School.
