Biography

2024: Played in all 11 games for the Dragons and was a valuable piece to the secondary...made 55 total tackles with 40 solo takedowns, including one tackles for loss...led the Dragons with three interceptions on the season, one of which he returned 92 yards for a touchdown...had two interceptions against Augustana on September 28...was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week on September 30...NSIC All-Academic Team. 

2023: Played in four games before suffering a season-ending wrist injury...managed to make 19 total tackles with 14 solo stops...had two pass breakups and two tackles for loss...NSIC All-Academic Team. 

2022: Saw action in 11 games for MSUM, making 42 solo tackles and 52 tackles overall...led the team with nine pass breakups to go along with two interceptions.

2021: Played in 11 games with 43 total tackles with 22 of those being unassisted...led the team with eight pass breakups and had four interceptions for the year.

2020: Season canceled due to Covid-19.

Prep: First-team all-state...all-conference selection...had five interceptions, including three in one game, as a senior...had 72 tackles...three-year letterwinner...also lettered in basketball and baseball.

Personal: Son of Shannon and Chad Sorenson...Computer Information Systems major.
