2024: All-NSIC First Team...Don Hansen All-America Honorable Mention...D2Football.com Elite 100 'Squad'...Harlon Hill Trophy nominee...led the NSIC with 3421 passing yards by year's end, a mark that was fourth-most in NCAA Division II in 2024...completed 344 passes on 564 attempts for a 61 percent completion clip...tossed 32 passing touchdowns while also scoring twice on the ground...reset the MSUM career record for passing yardage against Augustana on September 28, just his 24th career game as a Dragon...reset the MSUM record for career passing touchdowns on October 12 against Minnesota State...ended the season holding every major passing record (single-season and career) in program history...led the Dragons to four come-from-behind victories during the year...had two games with 400 or more passing yards and five games with 300 or more pass yards...had five performances with four or more passing touchdowns, including four games with five passing scores...was twice named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week on September 30 and October 21...NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence...CSC Academic All-District selection...CSC Academic All-America Second Team. 

2023: Named MSUM Athlete of the Year...NSIC Offensive Player of the Year, becoming the first Dragon player since 2007 to win the award...All-NSIC First Team...Don Hansen All-America Honorable Mention...Harlon Hill Trophy nominee...set MSUM single-season records in passing yards (3,914), pass completions (370), pass attempts (550) and passing touchdowns (36)...accrued 5,000 career passing yards against Southwest Minnesota State, becoming the fastest in school history to accomplish the feat...his 340 completions in NSIC competition is a new conference record while his 370 total completions led the nation (regular season)...finished second in the nation in overall passing yardage (regular season) with his 36 touchdowns the third-highest total (regular season) in Division II...tied the MSUM single-game record for passing touchdowns after slinging six against Sioux Falls...NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence...CSC Academic All-District. 

2022: All-NSIC North Second Team following a 2,280-yard season to go along with 16 passing touchdowns...had a completion percentage of 64.61 for the season and completed a total of 230 passes in nine games played...set the MSUM single-game record for completions in a contest with 45 against Mary. 

Prep: Two-time all-conference quarterback…all-region quarterback…finished with 2,457 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in career. ..three-year letterwinner…also a baseball standout.  

Personal: Son of Veronica and Jim Strand...engineering physics major.
