Biography

2023: D2CCA All-Super Region 4...All-NSIC Second Team...made 61 total tackles including 42 solo stops for the Dragons at cornerback...led MSUM and the NSIC with five interceptions on the season to go along with nine pass breakups...had an interception in four of his last five games to conclude the season. 

2022: Played in 11 games for MSUM and totaled 47 solo tackles and 65 tackles overall, the fourth-best mark on the roster...led the team with four interceptions including a two pick game against Minot State...tallied eight solo tackles on two different occassions during the year...forced a pair of fumbles during the year as well.

2021: Played in 11 games for the Dragons, tallying 44 total tackles with 30 of those tackles being solo takedowns...had three and half tackles for loss including two sacks...snared one interceptions and broke up three passes on the season.

2020: Fall season cancelled because of Covid-19.

2019: Played at defensive back as a true freshman...had five solo tackles and five assists..also had one tackle for loss and one pass breakup.

Prep: All-district as a senior…also all-district honorable mention as a junior…team captain…three-year letter winner in football…also lettered in basketball and track and field.

Personal: Son of Kim and Josh Bettcher...engineering major.
