2016: Named to All-NSIC North First Team...named to Don Hansen All-Super Region 3 third team...finished tied for sixth in the NSIC at 7.5 sacks, which was tied for 51st in the nation...was eighth on the team with 46 tackles, second on the team with 9.5 tackles for loss and also blocked a kick this season..had 16 solo stops and 30 assists. 

2015: Named to All-NSIC North Division Second Team after strong sophomore campaign...started all 11 games on the defensive line...recorded 38 tackles, with 10 solo stops...finished second on the team with nine tackles for loss and led with four sacks...had season-high seven tackles in win over Augustana (9/19/15)...named to NSIC All-Academic Team for fall season.

2014: Named All-NSIC North Division honorable mention after solid freshman season...started all 11 games on the defensive line...finished with 32 tackles (nine solo, 23 assists)...finished with 8.5 tackles for loss, including a team-best 5.5 sacks...had career-high two sacks against Bemidji State (11/8/14)...had a career-high six tackles against Sioux Falls (9/27/14)...also had a blocked field goal against Wayne State (9/20/14).

Prep: All-Area Defensive Player of the Year…team captain…two-time all-conference selection…part of South Central Conference championship team in 2013…finished with 210 career tackles and 17 career sacks…three-year letterwinner…three-year basketball letterwinner as well.

Personal: Son of Kris and Don Busse...engineering major...born March 24, 1996.
