Biography

2013: Started all 11 games on the offensive line on the guard and center positions...part of offense that set eight school records in 2013, including team records for total yards in a season (5,057) and first downs in a season (265), and single-game records for total offense (685 vs. nationally-ranked Minnesota Duluth), passing yards (472 vs. UMD) and first downs (33 vs. Bemidji State).

2012: Started all 11 games on the offensive line at the right guard position and provided consistent play up front.

2011: Started four of six games played in…competed on the offensive line as a freshman.

Prep: 12-time letter award winner in football, wresting and track at Lisbon High School…captain of football team…two-time first team All-East Region, second team North Dakota All-State team junior season and first team All-State team senior season…two year captain in wrestling…eighth and seventh place finish in class B wrestling junior and senior seasons, respectively.

Personal: Son of Greg and Kathleen Groettum…born Oct. 22, 1992…3.9 GPA at LHS…member of FBLA, NHS, student council, band and Jazz band.
