2013: Started all 11 games at linebacker...finished with 68 tackles (35 solo, 33 assists)...finished with 7.5 tackles for loss (-17 yards)...had two interceptions and a forced fumble...had season-high eight tackles in a game five times.

2012: Appeared in all 11 games...totaled 34 tackles, 20 solo and 14 assisted, in 11 games played…recorded 5.5 tackles for a loss totaling 26 yards…broke up one pass and recovered one fumble…blocked three punts… part of 6th ranked red zone defense in the NSIC.

2011: Played in nine games at safety…second among freshman with 40 tackles, 11 solo and 29 assisted…recorded one tackle for a loss against Southwest Minnesota State University on Oct. 8.

Prep: Member of the 2010 Dragon recruitment class…a 2010 graduate of Anoka High School…a two-year letterwinner in football where he played free safety and wide receiver…served as the team captain in 2009…honored as the team’s defensive Most Valuable Player…selected to the All-Northwest Suburban Conference first team…a three-year letterwinner in basketball…a two-time All-Conference selection…selected as the team’s defensive MVP after serving as the basketball captain for the 2009-10 season…earned All-State All-Academic honors in both sports…selected as a member of the Northwest Suburban Leadership conference in both his junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Majoring in Secondary Education at MSUM…son of Helena and Ali Ismail…born Aug. 20, 1992…brother Levi played football at the University of St. Thomas (Minn.)…three-time member of the AHS honor roll…given the senior salute and was named the AHS student of the month during his senior year…was the President of the Students Together are Responsible (STAR) group at AHS…served as the DECA Vice President…participated in Future Educators Club, serving as the clubs Vice President…was the editor and chief of the Link Yearbook at AHS…volunteered at the youth football, basketball and track & field camp events in Anoka…active group leader at local church.
