Prep: A three year letterwinner in football at Pine River-Backus High School…played linebacker and wide receiver for Head Coach Randy Schwegel…led the Northern Plains conference in receiving yards in 2009…served as team captain for two seasons…named to the Northern Plains All-Conference team two times…named All-Section honoree in both junior and senior seasons…the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2009…lettered twice in basketball and three times in baseball.
