Biography

2010: Versatile lineman leaving spring training as the starting left tackle…started each game…part of the seventh ranked pass offense in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

2009: Started every game, 11…a key anchor of the offensive line at right tackle.

2008: Redshirted.

Prep: Three-year starter and letterman at Baraboo…served as football and basketball captain…became a two-way starter as a junior at offensive tackle and defensive end, also used as long snapper…winner of Golden Helmet Award junior season…named to All-Badger North Conference as a senior and presented Tom Brock Award as Outstanding Offensive Lineman…two-year letter winner in basketball.

Personal: Son of Rhonda and Carl Gruber…born Nov. 26, 1990…Exercise Science major…member of BHS’s Honor Roll…graduated with honors…spends summer as instructor at basketball and football youth camps…named to Dean’s List.
