2010-11:  Averaged 3.2 points per game and had a 38.4 field goal percentage…shot .371 (23-62) from behind the three point line…scored a season-high 15 points on Dec. 18 against Augustana while shooting 4-6 from the three point line…averaged 1.1 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game…earned NSIC All-Academic honors.

2009-10: The third leading scorer for the team, averaging 9.5 points per game...hot hand from behind the three-point line shooting .438 (67-153)...had a career-high and a individual team high 30 points on Jan. 16 against Minnesota Crookston where he went 8-for-12 from behind the arc...the game led to him being named the NSIC Player of the Week...scored in double digits 11 times, including a 23 point performance on Dec. 5 against Minnesota Duluth and 30 points on Jan. 16...averaged2.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 24.1 minutes per game.

2008-09: Started 15 games for the Dragons…shot 41 percent from the field and 35 percent from three point range…ranked 3rd on the team in rebounds with 74….tied for the team lead in steals with 25…ranked 2nd on the team in scoring with 239 points on the season averaging 9.6 ppg.

2007-08: Red-shirted

Prep:  Graduate of Hawley High School…10-time letter winner in football, basketball and baseball…All-Conference honorable mention sophomore season….captain of team junior season where he lead his team to the state semifinals…was named team MVP….received All-Conference honors…junior season highlighted by quadruple double where he posted 48 points, 16 steals, 11 rebounds and 11 assists…repeated as team captain and team MVP senior year on his way to his second All-Conference award…shared Conference MVP honors finishing with over 1,212 points and 470 rebounds on the season…made honor roll during high school career…member of the National Honor Society junior and senior years and was involved with music through out high school.

Personal: Majoring in Exercise Science…son of Dale and Jane VanHavermaet…made Deans List at MSUM…regular volunteer with local church.
