MSU Moorhead Athletics

2013-14:  Named to All-NSIC second team...fourth on the team in scoring at 10.3 points per game despite missing seven games with an injury...appeared in 22 games and scored in double figures in 13 games...also led MSUM in assists with 72, an average of 3.3 per game...had three games with seven assists during the season...shot team-best 93.8 percent from the free-throw line, third-best in all of Division II..also averaged 2.9 rebounds per game from point guard spot...was 59th in national in assist-to-turnover ratio.

2012-13: Started all 30 games at guard and had solid sophomore campaign...averaged 11.3 points per game, third on the team...had 20 double-figure scoring games...shot 42.6 percent from the field, including 36.6 percent from three-point range...led team with 91.3 percentage from free-throw line...had season-high 21 points in NSIC tournament win over SMSU (2/27/13)...had a career-high eight assists in win over USF (1/18/2013).

2011-12: Started 20 games of 31 played in as a freshman…averaged 6.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game in 21.7 minutes...scored a career high 25 points on 7-of-9 from behind the arc in the NSIC Championship game against Southwest Minnesota State.

2010-11: Redshirted

Prep: A 2010 graduate of Staples-Motley High School...a five-time letterwinner in basketball...exited the program as the all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,958 points...as a senior he averaged 16.8 points, 8.0 assists and 8.0 rebounds per game...garnered the team’s most valuable player award...selected as a four-time member of the All-Mid State Conference team...received accolades as a two-time  member of the All-Section team and a three-time honorable mention All-State Minnesota honoree...also earned four letters in baseball where he garnered All-Conference and All-Section awards.

Personal: Son of John and Kim Riewer...physical education major...born Aug. 23, 1991...the son of John and Kim Riewer...member of a family of athletes where father played baseball and basketball at Concordia (Moorhead), Brother (Aaron) played basketball at Central Lakes C.C., both sisters (Malerie and Jolene) played softball at Central Lakes C.C., Grandfather (Jerry) played basketball at Bemidji State and cousin (Michael) played baseball at North Dakota State.
