Biography

2021: Started all 43 games...hit .244 with four doubles and 17 RBI...was second on the team in RBI....had six multi-hit games...named to NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2020: Started 13 games in COVID-shortened season...hit .205 with a double, a homer and two RBI...Named to NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2019: Appeared in 35 games with 32 starts, missed several games with injury...hit .288 with two homers and 11 RBI...also had three doubles.

2018: Sat out as a redshirt at South Dakota State.

Prep: Four time all-state honoree, picking up first team honors in junior and senior years...four-time all-section selection...four-time all-conference selection and three-time conference MVP...four-time WCT All-Area first team...holds school records with 133 RBI and 57 dboules...hit .448 in career.

Personal: Daughter of Jennifer and Paul Gjerde.
