Minnesota State University Moorhead senior standout Brian Huber is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach.
Huber won the national outdoor championship in the long jump with a school record effort of 26-2 1/4 in May 2018.
The Staples, Minn., native also earned NSIC Field Athlete of the Year honors outdoors after winning the long jump at the conference outdoor meet in May. He also earned All-NSIC honors in the 200.
Indoors, Huber was All-American in the long jump with a third-place finish. He set another school record at the national meet with a jump of 25-2 3/4. He finished his career with a national championship, four first-team All-American honors and five NSIC titles.
