XC: Competed in four meets for MSUM with personal bests in both the 6k and 8k runs...marked a 19:20.3 in the Dragon Twilight 6k...ran a 25:49.4 8k at the NSIC Cross Country Championships.
Indoor: Competed in five meets for the Dragons and set a variety of personal bests in the process...marked collegiate bests in the mile run (4:27.88) and the 1000m run (2:38.40) at the UND Open...also set a pair of personal bests at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships...finished with a time of 15:06.22 in the 5000m to place fifth overall with the time being the ninth-fastest in program history...also earned a 12th-place finish in the 3000m with a time of 8:48.46.
Outdoor: Competed in four meets for the Dragons and found his stride in both the 5000m and the 3000m steeplechase...placed sixth in the steeplechase at the NSIC Outdoor Championships behind a personal best time of 9:38.36...also placed 10th in the 5000m run at the league meet behind a personal best time of 14:54.79...placed third in the steeplechase at the NDSU Spring Classic with a time of 9:50.24.

Prep: Competed in both cross country and track & field for New Town High School where he ran the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, the 4x800m relay and 4x400m relay...was a member of the 2019 New Town team that won a North Dakota Class B state title in cross country...in 2023, his team finished third at the state meet and finished 13th as an individual...was team captain as a senior in 2024....also competed in basketball.

Personal: Son of Nikki and Luke Lahtinen. Undecided major.
