Indoor: Competed in six meets for the Dragons, setting new personal bests in both the 200m and 400m...marked a collegiate best 26.83 in the 200m at the UND Open...ran a personal best 1:00.12 in the 400m at the SDSU Indoor Classic...had a pair of top-three finishes in the 400m at the Bison Team Cup and the Cobber Open...competed on MSUM's 4x400m relay team at the NSIC Championships...NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence. 
Outdoor: Competed in six meets for the Dragons, setting a pair of personal bests in the 200m and 400m during the season...marked a 59.20 in the 400m at the Gary Wilson Invitational for the new career best...ran a 26.74 in the 200m at the Al Cassell Classic for the new best, placing third in the process...also placed third in the 400m at the Cobber Open...placed 17th in the 400m at the NSIC Outdoor Championships with a preliminary time of 59.90...was also a member of the MSUM 4x400m relay team that placed fifth at the conference meet...NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence. 

2024-25
Indoor: Competed in seven meets for the Dragons, registering personal bests in the 200m (26.93), 300m (43.14) and the 400m (1:01.41) during the season...her 300m time set at the UND Tune-Up is the eighth-fastest time in program history...ran on MSUM's 4x400m team that placed 10th at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships. 
Outdoor: Competed in six meets during the outdoor season with an event win in the 400m at the Al Cassell Classic behing a time of 1:02.71...set a new personal best in the 400m hurdles at the Bison Open, marking a 1:09.64 to place sixth...also placed fourth in the 400m at the same meet...was a member of MSUM's 4x400m relay team that finished 12th at the conference championships...NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2023-24
XC: Did not compete. 
Indoor: Did not compete. 
Outdoor: Competed in four meets...registered a new personal best in the 400m at the Al Cassell Classic with a time of 1:03.59...also set a personal best in the 200m at the UMary Classic, clocking a 28.10...was a member of MSUM's 4x400m relay team that took home an event win at the UMary Classic. 

Prep: Was a three-time all-conference performer in track for Hermantown High School...was section runner-up in both the 400m and 4x100m relay in 2022...was also a multi-time all-conference selection in both basketball and soccer.

Personal: Daughter of Lana and Jon Birkeland. Majoring in communication studies.
