Biography
2012: Was 2012 NSIC Outdoor high jump champion with personal-best of 6-9, earning him all-conference honors....all-region selection in high jump as well...finished sixth in high jump at NSIC Indoor Championships...won high jump at Cobber Open (6-8 3/4).
2011: Earned all-conference honors after finishing second in high jump at NSIC Outdoor Championships (6-9)...also won the event at Cobber Sunny Day Meet and BSU Twilight...earned all-conference honors in high jump after placing third at NSIC Indoor Championships...won high jump at BSU Twilight.
2010: Finished second in the high jump at NSIC Indoor Championships, earning all-conference honors...also finished fourth in high jump at NSIC Outdoor Championships.
Prep: Two-time all-state honoree...set school high jump record of 6-6...eight-time all-conference honoreee...two-time conference champion in high jump...True Team State High Jump champ.
Personal: Son of Jay and Keri Barnes...exercise science major...born April 4, 1989.
