2026 Spring Football Roster
Biography
2025: Emerged as MSUM's lead backfield threat throughout the season, taking 90 carries for a team-high 578 rush yards...scored three times on the ground and averaged 6.4 yards per carry...had a long rush of 48 yards...was also dangerous in the pass game, collecting 31 receptions for 145 yards and two touchdowns...took 10 carries for 116 yards and a touchdown against Jamestown on November 8...NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence...CSC Academic All-District.
2024: Took 22 carries across seven games played for the Dragons...tallied 51 yards on the ground for a 2.3 yards per carry mark...also had three receptions totaling 33 yards.
2023: Utilized the three-game redshirt rule…played in two games, primarily on special teams.
Prep: Three-year varsity starter for Brookings High School...was named team captain as a senior where he was also an all-state selection.
Personal: Son of Kristin and Justin Brandt. Undecided major.
Coach Laqua: “Tough physical runner and brings great measurables. He makes a lot of different types of runs weather that’s inside-outside, through people, around people, making people miss. We like to see a guy who isn’t a one trick opponent that can do a lot of different things.”
