Emily Larsen

Emily Larsen begins her first season as a Dragon assistant coach in 2025. 

Moorhead will serve as Larsen's first foray into coaching following a successful playing career at Concordia College. Larsen exhausted her athletic eligibility following the 2024 season which saw her earn All-MIAC Honorable Mention honors. She was a four-year fixture in the Cobber backend, earning the program's Defensive Player of the Year in 2022. 
 
Larsen would go on to play and start in 68 career matches for the Cobbers, making a significant impact on both ends of the field. She tallied seven career assists with a career-best five assists in 2024. Larsen also posted her first career goal as a senior against Nebraska Wesleyan on September 8. She would finish her career with a pair of goals scored after netting another against Bethel on October 22. 
 
Throughout her collegiate career, Larsen also served as a trainer for Team S2AQ in West Fargo, N.D. In this role, she conducted strength, agility and conditioning training sessions for middle and high school athletes. Larsen also organized and set up equipment for drills and training exercises while with Team S2AQ. 
 
Larsen was also active within Concordia's campus, serving as President of the Colleges Against Cancer organization for three years. She was also a member of Concordia's Exercise Science club and served in the community in a variety of ways through Feed My Starving Children, Jeremiah Progam and more. Larsen, a West Fargo, N.D., native,  is completing her Exercise Science degree at Concordia this year with an emphasis in pre-occupational therapy.
