Biography
2023-24: Competed in 10 meets for the Dragons, setting personal-bests in the 50-yard freestyle (26.28) and 100-yard IM (1:07.28) at the NSIC Swimming & Diving Championships...also set a season-best in the 100-yard fly (1:01.92) at the conference meet as well...finished runner-up in the 100-yard fly in dual action against Concordia, St. Paul on November 4 with a time of 1:03.87.Â
Prep: Swims the Butterfly, medley relay, 400 free relay and backstroke. Was team captain both her junior and senior season and was named to the All-Conference Academic team in 2021. Was a part of a school record-breaking 200 medley relay team. Has personal bests of 27.32 in the 50 fly, 57.63 in the 100 fly and 2:07.32 in the 200 free.
Personal: Daughter of Brenda and David Varney. Majoring in physical therapy.
