Madison Halterman is in her second season as an assistant coach for the MSUM volleyball team.
A native of Omaha, Neb., Halterman played libero at Division I Tennessee State for two seasons. She was named the Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2015 and was also first-team all-conference. She was named team MVP as a senior as well.
Halterman also set a single-season school record for digs in a season at TSU.
Prior to her time at Tennessee State, Halterman played for two seasons at Iowa Western Community College, helped the team to a 45-4 record in two seasons. She was named team MVP in 2013.
Halterman graduated from Tennessee State with a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences. She plans to take graduate classes in educational leadership at MSUM.
