Before MSUM: Spent the previous three seasons wrestling at NSIC member school University of Mary...went 20-2 overall in 2024-25 which included four falls and five technical falls...won three weight class championships at three open tournaments that season...went 21-18 overall in 2023-24 with nine wins via fall and another four via tech fall...placed sixth at NCAA Super Region V...was a multi-time NSIC All-Academic member for the Marauders.

Prep: Was a two-time North Dakota state champion for Bismarck Century High School...was also a two-time WDA champion in his career with the Patriots...racked up a 181-36 career record in his prep career, holding Century school records in tech falls, match points, reversals and near fall points...won 2023 NDUSA Greco Tournament. 

Personal: Son of Justin and Vanessa DeCoteau. Majoring in business administration.
