Rebekah (Beka) Stone was hired in August of 2023 to become MSUM's new assistant diving coach. She will also serve as the Dragon Swim School Coordinator. Stone brings with her numerous accolades and honors from her time on the diving board.Â
An alumnus of St. Cloud State University, Stone carved out one of the most consistent diving careers in Husky history. She still possess the school's record in 3-meter diving (six dives) which she set in 2020. She was a member of three Husky teams to capture NSIC Swimming & Diving Championships.Â
Stone earned All-NSIC honors in the 3-meter diving during the 2018-19 season with a score of 392 as well as a runner-up finish in 1-meter diving that same season. She earned All-America status in 1-meter diving at the 2019 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.Â
She would follow that up with another all-conference performance as a senior, placing third in the 3-meter diving in 2020. Stone would also finish runner-up in 1-meter diving that same season. She would earn another All-America nod in 3-meter diving to close out her career for the Huskies.Â
Stone is a native of Foley, Minn.
