Hallie Vervair

Hallie Vervair begins her first season as a Dragon assistant coach in 2025.

Vervair comes to Moorhead following a season as an assistant coach at NAIA Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. While with the Vikings, Vervair led training segments, created opponent scouting reports and prepared player game-day handouts. Additionally, she was the primary support for the program regarding budget management as well as team travel planning.

The Spokane, Wash., native was also pivotal in recruiting while with Grand View. Vervair was able to recruit seven players to the Vikings ahead of the 2025 season. She also showcased her ability to recruit out-of-state, increasing Grand View's out-of-state collective from four to 11 players. Part of this stemmed from hosting an ID Camp in Arizona, which helped bolster Grand View's presence in the southwest. Vervair was pivotal in the development of Grand View's camp program, increasing offerings and drawing more campers. She helped revive Grand View's ID Camp, which had been dormant for three years prior to her arrival.

Vervair was also tasked with fostering support in the classroom for soccer student-athletes at Grand View. She led and managed the program's social media presence in her time in Des Moines as well. While working at Grand View, Vervair was also an Olympic Development Program Administrator for the Iowa Youth Soccer Association. In this role, she focused heavily on logistics for camps and tournaments as well as managing registration for nearly 400 players.

Throughout her time in Des Moines, she remained active in the club soccer scene as well. While also holding her other positions, Vervair served as the Director of Program Development for the Iowa Storm Soccer Club, helping develop the framework of the program overall. She also was a Pre-ECNL Youth Coach for Sporting Iowa throughout her time in Des Moines.

Vervair began her coaching career in 2022, serving as a youth coach for the Billings United Soccer Club in Billings, Mont. Throughout that time, Vervair also served as an Olympic Development Coach for the Montana Youth Soccer Association. In February 2023, Vervair was named the head soccer coach at Central Catholic High School in Billings. Vervair holds United State Soccer Federation (USSF) 'C' licensure.

In her playing career, Vervair played four seasons and played in 44 career matches for Montana State University Billings. She made 28 career starts for the Yellowjackets and played a total of 2,585 minutes. Vervair was a three-time Academic All-GNAC honoree for the Yellowjackets as well.
