Shannon Curtin is in her first athletic year at MSU Moorhead in 2024-25. She was hired to the post in July of 2024.
Curtin has served as the Head Athletic Trainer at fellow NSIC member school Northern State since 2022. In total, Curtin spent 11 years in Aberdeen, serving as an Assitant Athletic Trainer from 2013 until her promotion to Head Athletic Trainer in 2022.
Curtin earned her undergraduate degree in athletic training from the University of North Dakota and completed her graduate studies in sports psychology at St. Cloud State.
She holds a variety of certifications in the athletic training space which include blood flow restriction, Rock Blade IASTM, and CPR and first aid. She is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA).
