MOORHEAD, Minn. - Jenna Reed and
Alison Ramaeker each scored a pair of goals in the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons fifth win of the season, winning 4-1 over the University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
Reed tallied both her goals in the first half to put the Dragons up 2-0 at intermission. Her first goal came 11:20 into the game as she kicked in a ball that was passed to her by
Katelin Roos.
She chipped her second goal in at 23:33 on a chain of passes from
Jordyn Wallenborn and
Rachel Thompson. The pair of goals were her second and third of the season.
Ramaeker put up the Dragons' insurance goal at 47:36, just out of intermission on her first goal of the season. Her second goal of the year came with under 11 minutes left to play (79:11), another unassisted goal coming off a rebounded shot taken by Wallenborn.
The Gold Eagles scored their lone goal at 49:16 on a pass from Ashley Sletten to Megan Gibeault.
MSUM moves to 5-8-1 overall and 2-7-0 in Norther Sun action. They will kick-off again on Sat., Oct. 24 in Sioux Falls, S.D. against Augustana College.
