MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Dragons soccer team heads to Marshall for the start of their final road trip of the regular season as they take on the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs. The Dragons finish the road tour with a stop at Minnesota State Mankato to face the Mavericks.

The Mustangs currently sit at 1-7-2 (0-5-2 NSIC) after a 1-1 draw with Wayne State (N.E.) and then falling to Augustana (S.D.) by a final of 3-1.  The Mustangs have allowed 21 goals in seven conference games while only managing four themselves.

The Mavericks bring a very stout defense into Sunday's contest when they host the Dragons. The Mavericks currently sit at 7-4-1 (5-1-1 NSIC) and have only allowed three goals in those seven contests. The Mavericks are coming off a three-game winning streak against conference opponents, none of which are over .500.

The Dragons 0-10-1 (0-6-1 NSIC) will start their first game with the Mustangs at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Marshall. The Dragons will then head to Mankato to face the Mavericks with a 1 p.m. scheduled start on Sunday.
