MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragon men's basketball team will host their first and second conference game of the season on Friday and Saturday as they will go head-to-head with the Wayne State Wildcats (Neb.) and the Augustana Vikings (S.D.) at 8 p.m. each day.

Dragon Recap
The Dragons picked up their second win in conference play last Saturday as they topped Minnesota Crookston on the road. The Dragons went 4-for-6 from the charity stripe in the final minute of the game after leading by three to hold on for the win, 67-60.
In the game,
Dennis Williamson led the team with 19 points as he picked up his third double-double of the season.
Jake Driscoll and
Tarell Clark each tallied 15 points.
On the season, Williamson is averaging 15.3 points per game to lead the team. He also averages 8.9 rebounds and has registered six blocks. Sophomore
Alex Novak continues to play solid defense as he has registered 16 blocks this season and is pulling down an average of 11.0 rebounds per game. His numbers on the boards ranks him first in the league and fifth in the nation. Novak also puts up 10.7 points per game.
The three other starters are also tallying double digits in scoring as Driscoll, last seasons scoring leader is tallying 14.1 points per game, Clark averages 13.0 and
Charlie Chapman is putting up 11.4.

Wayne State (Neb.)
The Wildcats opened league play 0-2 but have since moved their NSIC record to even as they topped both Northern State (S.D.) and U-Mary (N.D.) last weekend, both games winning in convincing style.
The Wildcats shot 50 percent or better in two home NSIC wins last weekend. WSC shot 71 percent in the second half and finished the game with a season-high 55.3 percent from the field (26 of 47) in rolling past Northern State 79-60 last Friday evening and then used 50 percent shooting (21 of 42) in shutting down Mary 66-55 Sunday afternoon.
Amry Schelby leads the Wildcats as he is averaging 18.3 points per game this season, starting all eight games. Brad Starken is leading the team on defense as he has grabbed 29 of his team leading 37 boards on defense, he also has nine steals on the year.
Augustana (S.D.)
The Vikings, 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the NSIC picked up their first and second league wins last weekend. On Friday, Cody Schilling led the Vikings to a 13 point win over U-Mary with 19 points. Team leader. Cameron McCaffrey had 27 points on Sunday to move the team's league record even.
McCaffrey averages 18.4 points per game this season as a guard and also has 15 assists. Schilling trails McCaffrey in scoring by 16 points total this season, as he averages 16.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
The Series
This weekend's opponents both hold the edge over the Dragons in the all-time series records. Augustana holds a 4-7 lead while Wayne State leads 18-3. The team's played in the second weekend in January last winter, where the Dragons suffered two losses on the road.
