ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons (6-7, 2-3 NSIC) fell to the reigning national champions, Concordia St. Paul (10-3, 5-0) on Saturday, in a 3-0 match (25-12, 25-23, 25-13) that took just one hour and seven minutes.
The Golden Bears hit a hot .396 in the match with three players tallying double figures in kills. The Dragons could not match the attack from their opponents as they hit just .146 in the game with 31 total team kills.
Laura Tvrdik had 11 kills in the match and
Heidi Lensing had eight.
The Dragons will return to the court on Oct. 1 as they travel to Marshall, Minn., to face off against Southwest Minnesota State at 7 p.m.
