| By:
MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team wraps up their home schedule as they take on Minnesota State Mankato on Saturday and Southwest Minnesota State on Sunday.

The Dragons only played one game this past weekend as they defeated the University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles 2-0 Friday at home.  The victory accounted for head coach Rollie Bulock's 100th career win.  The Dragons record now stands at 7-3-1 and 3-3-1 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.  The NSIC record puts the Dragons in the eighth spot for the conference.

Katherine Adams and Erin Nyberg recorded the two goals for Friday's match.  Adams' goal was her second of the year while Nyberg recorded her first.  Victoria Hoffman earned another win as goalkeeper as she saved two shots to improve her starting record to 5-1.

The Dragons lost last year's match at Minnesota State Mankato 3-0.  The all-time series record stands at 2-7-2 held by Mankato.  The Dragons and Mavericks are set to face-off at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Nemzek Soccer Field.

The lone victory from last year's squad came at Southwest Minnesota State.  Former NSIC player of the week Amanda Wurdeman scored her first collegiate goal in a 1-0 victory.  The win put the series record at 10-6-2 held by MSU Moorhead.

A few graduating seniors will be honored on Sunday during the last regular season home game.  The seniors being honored by head coach Rollie Bulock include Shiree Lindholm, Alejandra Vicuna, Cody Krieg, Jordyn Wallenborn, Abby Kettler and Katherine Adams.  Admission is free to both 1 p.m. kick-offs.
