Box Score MOORHEAD, Minn. -  The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team finished 2011 regular season play Sunday with a 3-0 loss at Winona State.

An early goal in the third minute by Taylor Zehren set the tempo for the Warriors. The Dragons answered by taking four of the next six shots, none resulting in a score.  Another goal scored by Jenna Jares in the 43rd minute wrapped up scoring for the first half.

The second half didn't produce any results for the Red and White although they created six shot opportunities.  Scoring for the game was capped off by Amanda Dennis in the 80th minute to make the final 3-0.

Jordyn Wallenborn led the attack for the Dragons producing five shots, all on goal.  The shots on goal is her highest output of the season while the shot total is her second highest.  The previous game's high goal scorer Erin Nyberg followed Wallenborn with two shots, one on goal.

Carole Braschayko started the final game and saved four shots to put her save total on the season at 31.  The three goal loss put Braschayko's starting record at 3-4-1.  The Dragons' loss put the all-time series record at 6-16 in favor of the Warriors.

The Dragons finish the 2011 season with a 8-8-1 record overall and a 4-8-1 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.  The conference record put MSU Moorhead in tenth place, two spots short of making the 2011 NSIC Tournament.  The eight win total is a seven win improvement from last season.
