BISMARCK, N.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team rebounded from a 0-9 loss to St. Cloud State with a 9-0 win over the University of Mary Saturday in Bismarck.
Kayla Huether dropped the first set against the Marauders' Brianna Thomas, but came back to win 6-7 (4), 7-5, 10-2.
Katheryn Neubauer took the victory over Julia Schock 6-1, 7-6 (3) and
Alyse Grelson defeated Rachel Kelly 6-0, 6-2.
In doubles,
Susan Gilkerson and Janessa Winey took the 8-4 win over Laura Doll and Caroline Crary 8-4.
The win balances the Dragons at 1-1 overall on the season. Their next contest will be against St. Benedict in Fargo, N.D. at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 12.
