MOORHEAD, Minn. - The Minnesota State University Moorhead tennis team swept this past weekend's competition as they topped both the Bemidji State Beavers and the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, 9-0 and 8-1, respectively.

MSUM had a perfect match against BSU as Kayla Huether, Alyse Grelson and Jenna Miller each allowed only one set point against their nearly perfect scores. Huether and Miller won 6-1, 6-0, while Grelson reversed the order winning 6-0, 6-1.

Huether and Grelson teammed up to beat Kelli Christiansen and Kara Johnson, 8-2, in No.1 singles. They increased their overall doubles record to 6-1, 6-2, after topping UMD's Carrie Dahlman and Katie Bolf on Saturday.

The Dragons defeated Minnesota Duluth on Saturday as the team picked up wins in all but the No.3 singles match. Both Huether and Johnson had top wins. Huether went 6-1 and 6-2, against UMD's Carrie Dahlman while Johnson went 6-4, 6-1, over Anna Witty.
