MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Dragons continue their road schedule on Wednesday when they take on the Bemidji State Beavers, their 24th straight game away from the confines of Nemzek Field. The Dragons further their time on the road with a twin bill against both Northern State (S.D.) and U-Mary (N.D.).
The Dragons' doubleheader against the Beavers, originally scheduled to be the Dragons last games of the opening home stand, will be hosted in Bemidji on Wednesday at 1 and 3 p.m.
The Beavers (1-13, 0-6 NSIC) are currently on a 13-game losing streak and have been outscored by NSIC opponents 35-6 in six conference games. The Beavers pitching is lead by Courtney Anderson who has a 2.96 ERA to go with a 1-7 record. Offensively, the Beavers are led by Crystal Bowen who currently has a .321 avg.
The Dragons will take on the U-Mary Marauders (16-12, 3-5 NSIC) on Saturday at 1 p.m. and the Northern State Wolves (8-18, 2-6 NSIC) on Sunday at Noon. The Marauders are 5-5 over their last 10 games and have been outscored 64-62 over that span.
The Marauders pitching staff holds an ERA of 3.41 compared to opponents' staffs which average a 5.55 ERA. Emily Sinclair leads the staff in three major categories with a 7-4 record, 2.81 ERA and 64 strikeouts. Offensively, Allison Brown leads the Marauders with 15 extra base hits, including nine homeruns to go with her .356 avg.
The Wolves snapped a 7-game losing streak when they beat Concordia St. Paul on April 8 but have lost eight of their last 10 games, losing those eight by an average of four runs per game.
The Wolves pitching, which currently has a 4.10 ERA compared to 2.48 opponent ERA, is headed by Kelley Suggs who leads the staff with five wins. The Wolves struggle offensively, posting only three players with at least 10 RBI or more.
The Dragons pitching staff is lead by
Steeli Norton who has posted five wins so far this season while
Mara Litzer has held opponents to a .255 avg. at the plate. The Dragons' staff recorded the 100 strikeout on the season this past weekend.

Molly Keeler leads the Dragons with 21 RBI and eight homeruns. A.J. Hoefer is tied with Keeler for the team lead in extra base hits with nine while
Katie Howland leads the team with 28 total hits. Overall, the Dragons have seven players with a batting average of .300 or better, including pitcher
Alexa D'Onofrio who has posted a .444 avg. in 18 at bats.
