MINOT, N.D. -- Freshman Ashley Leintz had 11 saves to help the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team battle Minot State to a 0-0 overtime tie Friday night in Minot, N.D.

MSUM moved to 4-11-2 overall and 3-9-2 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with the tie, while Minot State's record is at 12-3-2 and 10-3-1 in the league.

In four starts, Leintz had not allowed a goal this season. She is 3-0-1 with 20 saves in those contests.

The Dragons -- who lost to Minot State 7-1 to open the year -- put together a solid effort in Friday's game. The Beavers had a 25-11 edge in shots, but only 11-6 in shots on goal.

"It was a solid all-around effort," MSUM head coach Rollie Bulock said. "Our defense came up big time and time again while Ashley was strong in goal."

Sophomore Erin Nyberg led MSUM with four shots, including three on goal, while Stephanie Lindo had three shots, including two on goal. Isabel Neyman also had a shot on goal for the Dragons.

MSUM wraps up the 2012 season on Sunday at home against Mary. The game begins at 1 p.m. at the MSUM Soccer Field.
