MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead football team returns home to play host to NSIC foe Upper Iowa for a 2 p.m. game on Saturday at Alex Nemzek Field in Moorhead, Minn.
Saturday's game will mark the fifth meeting between the schools in football. The series is tied at 2-2. Upper Iowa won the meeting a year ago, 45-31 in Fayette, Iowa, while the Dragons won in 2010, 28-24 in Moorhead.

About Upper Iowa
Upper Iowa is 0-2 after losing to St. Cloud State, 45-20 on Sept. 8 in Fayette, Iowa. The Peacocks trailed 26-7 at halftime and never got closer in falling by 25. Sophomore quarterback Cole Jaeschke threw for 324 yards and two scores and also rushed for 48 yards to lead the Peacock offensive attack. Senior linebacker Tony Leggett had 14 tackles to lead the Upper Iowa defense.
Junior Raymond Bradley leads the Upper Iowa running game with 132 yards on 23 carries, while Jaeschke has thrown for 503 yards and five scores in two games. Sophomore tight end Lucas Hefty has 15 catches for 163 yards and four touchdowns for Upper Iowa.
Leggett leads the defense with 26 tackles, while Ethan Douglas had 23.
As a team, Upper Iowa averages 21.5 points per game but allows 35.0. The Peacocks are being outgained on the ground, 165-105, but have a 251-238 edge in passing yards per game on their opponents.
Tom Shea is in his fourth season as Upper Iowa's head coach with a record of 8-27 at the school.

Five true freshmen start for the MSUM offense, including offensive linemen
Bennen Bierman,
Troy Peterson and
Jake Antolak and receivers
Tyler Rivard and
Adam Jiskra. Bierman and Peterson anchor the left side of the line, while Antolak has assumed the center duties.
Jiskra and Rivard each have six catches to lead the offense.
On defense, three true freshmen start, including safety
Shea DeJong, who leads the team with 20 tackles, and safety
Nico Caramella. Corner Sheldon Jones, also a true freshman, starts and also has moved to the top of the depth chart as a kick returner.
Seedorff Making Presence Felt
Sophomore linebacker
Nick Seedorff has been a solid defensive player thus far for the Dragons. He is second on the team with 15 tackles and leads the team with 10 assists.
