MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team saw a three-game unbeaten streak end Sunday as the Dragons fell to Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foe Augustana, 2-0, in Moorhead, Minn. MSUM fell to 2-3-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the NSIC, while Augustana improved to 4-2 and 3-0 in the league.
Two goals by Augustana's Payton Pry proved to be the difference in the contest. The Vikings had an 11-8 edge in shots in the game, including 4-1 in the first half.
Carly Lengstorf led MSUM with four shots, including three on goal.
Sienna Rebollozo had a shot on goal, while
Alyson Beare had two shots for the Dragons.
Carole Braschayko had three saves in net for the Dragons.
MSUM returns to the road for two more NSIC games next weekend, starting Saturday at Concordia-St. Paul.
