MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team will play a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foes on the road this week. The Dragons will play at Minnesota Duluth on Saturday (1 p.m. start) and conclude the weekend at St. Cloud State on Sunday ( 1 p.m. start).
The Dragons and Bulldogs will meet for a 17th time with UMD leading the all-time series 13-3. MSUM and St. Cloud State will meet for a 21st time with SCSU holding a 21-0 lead in the series.
MSUM wrapped up a four-game homestand with a pair of losses last weekend. The Dragons fell to Southwest Minnesota State, 3-1 on Saturday and then lost a tough 2-1 decision to Sioux Falls on Sunday. Eight of MSUM's losses this season have come by one goal.

About Minnesota Duluth
The Bulldogs are 10-3 overall and 9-2 in the NSIC. They had their five-game winning streak snapped by No. 2-ranked Minnesota State on Sunday. Maureen Stormont leads UMD with 12 goals and 28 points, while Dani Potter has seven goals, seven assists and 21 total points. The Bulldogs are averaging 2.23 goals per game this season. Goalkeeper Marissa Rosa has 50 saves and a 1.14 goals allowed average. She is 10-3 with three shutouts. Greg Cane is in his 20th season as UMD's head coach with a record of 213-115-32 at the school.
About St. Cloud State
St. Cloud State is 7-6-1 overall and 4-6-1 in the NSIC. The Huskies split on the road last weekend, losing to No. 2-ranked Minnesota State (7-2) but beating Concordia-St. Paul, 2-1. Michelle Cornell leads the Huskies with five goals, while Kara Dahmen has two goals, seven assists and a team-best 11 points. Eleven different SCSU players have scored goals this year. Brittany Plombon is 7-6-1 in goal with 96 saves and a 1.78 goals allowed average.Becky Heiberger-McCabe is in her sixth year at St. Cloud State with a record of 55-43-13 at the school.
