MOORHEAD, Minn. -- While most of the Minnesota State University Moorhead athletic teams are off this week, the Dragon women's tennis team will be busy on Saturday when it hosts two conference matches. MSUM will host Southwest Minnesota State at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and conclude the dy with a match against the University of Sioux Falls at 5 p.m.
Both matches will be at Courts Plus in Fargo, N.D., which is located at 3491 South University Drive.
It will be the first action for MSUM (2-5, 2-3 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) in a month. In their last action on Feb. 22-23 in Bismarck, N.D., the Dragons went 1-2 on the road, losing to Mary (5-4) and Northern State (8-1) before beating Bemidji State (8-1).
Freshman
Morgan Smith leads MSUM with a 4-3 singles record. Freshman
Ashley Wood is 3-4.

Cassie Smith have teamed up for a solid 5-2 mark to lead the way.
SMSU is 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the NSIC. The Mustangs are led in singles by Crystal Overbaugh with a 1-7 record while Katie Kienitz is 2-5 in doubles play.
USF is 2-4 overall and 2-3 in the conference. Morgan DeLange leads the team with a 2-3 singles mark, while also sharing the team lead with a 2-4 mark in doubles along with Molly Seigenthaler.
