ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team fell to Minnesota State, Mankato, 9-0, in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Thursday in St. Cloud, Minn.
Minnesota State improved to 8-7 overall and 7-2 in the NSIC with the win, while MSUM fell to 2-8 overall and 2-7 in the league.
The Dragons were unable to win a set on the day. Freshman
Ashley Wood had the closest singles match, losing 6-3, 6-1 to MSU's Shealyn Bakke.
MSUM lost all three doubles matches by an identical 8-2 score.
The Dragons are off until April 6 when they host Augustana and Winona State.
