MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead softball team is scheduled to wrap up conference play this week with three doubleheaders on the calendar. MSUM opens the week on Wednesday with a doubleheader (11 a.m. first game) against Minnesota-Duluth, which will be played at the West St. Paul Dome in West St. Paul, Minn.
The Dragons will wrap up the week with doubleheaders at Sioux Falls on Saturday and Southwest Minnesota State on Sunday. MSUM is still mathematically alive for a berth in the NSIC tournament (the top 10 teams in the regular-season standings qualify) but likely would need to win all six games this week to do so.
MSUM is coming off of its best weekend of the season, with sweeps of Bemidji State and Minnesota-Crookston in Sioux City, Iowa. The Dragons will take a four-game winning streak into this week's action.
