MOORHEAD, Minn.- The Minnesota State University Moorhead soccer team battled the Winona State University soccer team on Saturday afternoon, but ended up falling in overtime to the No. 22-ranked Warriors, 1-0.
MSUM dropped to 2-8 overall and 1-7 in the NSIC with the loss while Winona State improved to 10-1 and 7-1 in the NSIC.

Erin Nyberg each had three shots for the Dragons. Junior goalkeeper
Ashley Leintz, who leads the conference in saves per game, had 10 saves in the defeat.
Winona State outshot the Dragons 25-9, including 11-2 in shots on goal.
Madalyn Jansen put the only goal of the game in for the Warriors three minutes into the overtime period.
MSUM will play again on Sunday, October 11 when they face Upper Iowa at Nemzek Soccer Field.
