Live StatsLive VideoMOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team is back at home this weekend to face Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foes Winona State and Upper Iowa. The Dragons will face the Warriors at noon on Saturday and conclude the weekend against the Peacocks at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Both games will be at the MSUM Soccer Field.
The Dragons will meet Winona State for a 23rd time with the Warriors holding a 18-6 series lead. MSUM is looking for its first win in the series since 1997 as Winona State has won 18 meetings in a row, including a 3-0 win in Winona last season. The Dragons will meet Upper Iowa for an eighth time with the Peacocks holding a 5-2 series lead. MSUM lost a tough 4-3 game in Fayette, Iowa last season.
MSUM dropped a pair of road games last weekend, falling to No. 2-ranked Minnesota State, 4-0 on Oct. 4 and then suffering a tough 3-2 loss to Concordia-St. Paul the next day. In the loss to Concordia-St. Paul, freshman

Ashley Leintz has 78 saves through nine games and leads the NSIC at 8.67 per contest. She has a shutout and a .780 save percentage.

About Winona State Winona State is 9-1 overall and is 6-1 in the NSIC. The Warriors have won four in a row, including home wins over Minot State (1-0) and Mary (3-2) last weekend. Winona State's only loss is a 1-0 decision at Augustana. The Warriors have outscored their opponents by a 20-5 margin this season.
Darian Molter has nine points on four goals and one assist. Mehan Bolton had three goals and eight points, while Meg Riebau has three goals and seven points. Eleven different players have scored goals for Winona State, which is averaged 2.0 goals per game. Nicole Sames has three assists, while Bolton and Hannah Burt each have two. Fourteen different Warrior players have assists this season.
Rachel Oleson has been stellar in net for the Warriors. She is 9-1 with six shutouts and a 0.50 goals allowed average. Oleson has 43 saves.

About Upper Iowa Upper Iowa, which will face Northern State prior to facing MSUM, is 5-4 overall and 5-2 in the NSIC. The Peacocks have won five games in a row, including a 4-1 win over Mary and a 2-1 win over Minot State. The Peacocks opened the season with four straight losses but have rebounded with five wins in a row.
Madie Edwards leads Upper Iowa with five goals and 11 points, while Aimee Wronski has three goals and four assists for 10 points. Brianne Fenton has three goals and seven points. Six different Upper Iowa have scored goals this season with eight different players recording assists.
Kaitlyn Emanuel is Upper Iowa's primary goalkeeper. She is 5-4 with two shutouts this season. Emanuel has 49 saves and a 0.90 goals allowed average this season.
Upper Iowa was picked to finish fifth in the NSIC Preseason Soccer Coaches Poll.

Ashley Leintz is ranked 10th in all of Division II with 78 saves. She leads the NSIC in that category and also leads the league in saves per game at 8.67.

Jenai DeNardo have each scored the first goal of their college careers this season -- and all have come at critical times for the Dragons. Schatz scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Wayne State on Sunday. Carlson scored the first goal of her collegiate career earlier in the game to give the Dragons a 1-0 lead. DeNardo scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Washburn to open the 2014 season.
