MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team fell to Northwest Missouri State, 6-0, in nonconference action Sunday afternoon in Moorhead, Minn.
MSUM fell to 1-1 with the loss while Northwest Missouri State improved to 2-0.
The Bearcats scored four first-half goals to build a 4-0 halftime lead and added two more in the second half to secure the win.
The shots were even for the game at 11-11, but all 11 of the Bearcats' shots were on goal, compared to just three for MSUM.

Stephanie Lindo had the other shot on goal for MSUM. The Dragons' best scoring chance game at the 28:04 mark of the first half when freshman Makenzie Carlson's shot bounced off the left post.

Ashley Leintz had five saves for the Dragons.
MSUM is back in action on Sunday, Sept. 14 at Northern State.
