MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Freshmen
Hannah Loos and
Jessica Dallman each scored the first goals of their collegiate career, but Minnesota Crookston rallied with three second-half goals to secure a 3-2 win over the Dragons in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Saturday in Moorhead, Minn.
MSUM is now 1-8-3 overall and 1-8-1 in the NSIC, while UMC is 4-8-1 overall and 4-7 in the league. The win means Minnesota Crookston regained the Highway 75 Rivalry Rock back from the Dragons, who had held it since last season.

The Dragons struck quickly. Loos took a pass from Hanson and delivered a shot that got by UMC goalkeeper Lexie Gauger at the 4:37 mark to give the Dragons a 1-0 lead.

Danielle Tharaldson providing the assist. MSUM took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
UMC had a 13-5 edge in shots in the first half, including a 5-3 edge in shots on goal. The Dragons, however, capitalized on their shots, scoring two goals in three shot attempts. Leintz stopped five shots in the first half for MSUM.
The second half was a much different story. The Golden Eagles outscored MSUM 3-0 and outshot the Dragons 12-4. The winning goal game in the 86th minute when Courtney Armborst found the back of the net to give the Golden Eagles a 3-2 lead.
MSUM wraps up the weekend by hosting Bemidji State at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
